Mad Max (that I didn't watch the movie yet) was between in the two films most widely spoken of this award ceremony. When I was watching the ''The Revenant'' movie, I was thinking that it would win the award in the category of ''Best Directing''. But because I didn't watch Mad Max, i think it would win due to the candidacy of nominations have given a lot of to Mad Max and I thought it would win.But also last year's winner Alejandro Gonzalez Innaritu was nominated ''Best Directing'' for two consecutive years and it wouldn't get this year(because Americans love their race).
I read a lot on that category and I had a little manipulated for what i read and i think this year, Alejandro Gonzalez Innaritu(The Revanant) will win too. There are only two names, the acces to this success: John Ford who won the awrd in 1940 and 1941,and Joseph Mankiewickz who reached for it in 1950. Of course if Innaritu wins the award, he will be the first person to win outside of U.S.
